Privacy Policy
This policy explains how AccessTest handles information across accounts, monitoring, diagnostic tools, and paid plans.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and any name, avatar, or password information you choose to provide. If you sign in with Google, we receive the account information made available by Google, such as your email address, name, profile image, and Google account identifier.
When you use AccessTest, we process domains, URLs, expected keywords, selected monitoring regions, diagnostic inputs, check results, and monitor configuration settings. We also process alert email addresses when you enable email notifications.
How we use information
We use information to provide website monitoring and diagnostic tools, run checks from selected regions, display results, send monitoring alerts, maintain account access, provide customer support, and improve reliability and security.
We may use operational metadata, anonymous sessions, rate-limit events, and tool usage logs to prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and protect the service. We do not use submitted website content to publish or sell it as a separate product.
Payments and third-party services
Paid plans are processed through PayPal. We receive payment and transaction details needed to create orders, confirm payment, prevent duplicate purchases, activate plans, and provide purchase history. We do not receive or store your PayPal password or full payment instrument details.
We may use Google services for sign-in and analytics when enabled. These services process information according to their own privacy policies. AccessTest may also use hosting, email delivery, database, and infrastructure providers to operate the service.
Cookies and analytics
We use necessary cookies and local storage for authentication, security, preferences, and core site operation. Optional analytics or advertising technologies are used only according to the choices available in our Cookie Notice.
Data retention and security
We retain account, monitoring, check, and order information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request account deletion, subject to information we must retain for legitimate legal or security reasons.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not submit passwords, private keys, payment credentials, or other sensitive information as a monitoring target or diagnostic input.
Your choices and rights
You may review or update available account information from your dashboard, manage cookie choices through our Cookie Notice, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy assistance. Contact [email protected] with the email address associated with your account so we can verify the request.
Children and policy changes
AccessTest is intended for users who can lawfully use online services in their location and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date when appropriate.
